In the English courses, you will practice speaking and listening in every lesson, focusing on pronunciation, fluency, active listening, and comprehension.

Reading

  • Each class is 90 minutes.

  • Every class will focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing in the English language. The student textbook will guide the course while supplemental resources and supports are also reviewed with students to master concepts like new vocabulary and informal versus formal English.

  • English will be taught using pictures, audio, and videos. You do not need to speak English to participate in each lesson. Our first course (English 1A/1B) is instructed by a native Spanish speaker who will clarify and explain complex topics in Spanish to ensure full understanding.

  • You will access all course materials, including your textbook, workbook, supplemental assignments, and all other materials in Google Classroom. Once you are enrolled, you will receive login instructions.

  • Yes, you will have homework to ensure you can practice the skills you are learning during each class.

  • You can set up additional tutoring sessions with your course instructor.
